Welcome to “Innovations in Premium; Pearls in Biometry” hosted by Johnson & Johnson

A breakfast meeting for Optometrist from Nordics and the Netherlands – An educational course.

The course will cover various topics related to the use of presbyopia-correcting IOLs,
lens power calculations and refractive measurements, including:

  • Innovations in presbyopia-correcting IOLs
  • Managing patient flow and logistics in a premium clinic
  • IOL power calculations for challenging eyes
  • Post-op refractive measurements for PCIOLs

Faculty

We are honored to welcome a distinguished panel of experts in the field of ophthalmology and optometry.

Dr. Mikkel Hugod, ophthalmologist and co-owner of Auga Eye Center, performs up to 1,500 cataract and clear lens exchange surgeries annually, bringing a wealth of experience in refractive IOLs. Joining him is Carolien Antonius, an esteemed optometrist and product manager at FYEO Medical, a leading refractive clinic in the Netherlands. With a strong commitment to quality, safety, and delivering responsible care, Carolien ensures that patient well-being is always the top priority. She also draws on her extensive knowledge and expertise as a former lecturer at the School of Optometry (HU Utrecht). We are also pleased to have Louise Aariis, the skilled optometrist at Auga Eye Center, who handles all pre- and post-examinations of refractive patients, ensuring optimal care and patient outcomes. Lastly, we are joined by Angela Armero from Johnson & Johnson Vision, who addresses medical inquiries from ophthalmologists worldwide, providing critical support and expertise.
