This course is designed to empower refractive surgeons with the expertise
needed for clinical proficiency and successful practice management.
Our program covers essential topics, equipping you with skills to navigate

Every interaction during the course is an opportunity to learn something. Please follow these guidelines during the sessions to facilitate an open and engaging experience for all attendees.

About the Vision Experience Center

This education event at the Johnson & Johnson Institute is an exclusive, comprehensive program for Ophthalmologists offered in our high-tech classroom environment.

The Vision Experience Centre (VEC) is part of Johnson & Johnson Institute located in Barcelona, Spain. It is a 11,000 sq. ft. training and events center hosting healthcare professionals, sales representatives, application specialists, service engineers and employees to learn, connect and share knowledge with the common goal of improving vision and overall patient care.

When you arrive to Torre Realia, please report to the reception desk, and request a single access card for the Johnson & Johnson event.

You will be asked to provide ID or Passport for identification purposes.Proceed to through the gates by scanning your card to gain access to the elevator area.

Press floor number 3 in the panel next to the first four elevators. Once arrived at the third floor, proceed to the main entrance door, and enter with the access card.

The access card gives you access to enter your product laboratory, main door, and gates at the reception floor.

When the training is finished, drop off your temporary card at the reception desk.

Arriving to Barcelona
Airline bookings (economy flights) must be made by J&J.
On May 14th, we invite you for dinner at the Hotel SB Plaza Europa (terrace) which takes place from 20:00, therefore please plan your arrival to Barcelona accordingly.

We kindly ask you to take one of the following options from the BCN Airport to the Hotel:

  • Metro: Line L-9 Sud. Direction “Espanya.” Stop “Europa Fira” Station.
  • Taxi: travel time from airport to VEC approx. 15 minutes (12 kilometers)


Hotel
There are rooms reserved for all the attendees for 2 nights at Hotel SB Plaza Europa. Check-in on May 14th and check-out on May 16th. Hotel booking is done by J&J, however “extras” such as in-house movie channels, in-room minibars and hotel bar accounts are not reimbursable.

Restaurants
We invite you to join us at the Hotel SB Plaza Europa Restaurant for dinner on May 14th . There will be a cocktail menu served on the hotel’s terrace between
20:00 – 22:00.

Following the scientific program at the VEC on the evening of May 15th, you will have some time to return to the hotel and freshen up. We will then gather in front of the hotel at 19:30, to take a shuttle together to the LIamber restaurant.
